Susan has been involved in Health, Movement and Healing since 2000. She began teaching yoga and Nia Technique in 2003. That same year she founded the Nia and Yoga studio in Dunkeld West, Johannesburg, named Studio Kairos.
Here she teaches four Hatha Yoga and four Nia classes per week as well as workshops and Intensive Trainings. In addition, Susan teaches at the Old Eds Virgin Active Gym, as well as in corporate and government organizations like the Spar Group, Dept. of Health and other Investment/ Capital Markets forums doing leadership, empowerment and teambuilding workshops as part of Corporate Coaching Programs on a regular basis. Susan is also a Reiki Master(Usui)/Trainer and Level 7 Kahuna Massage Therapist and has explored workshops with Gabor Mate on The Wisdom of Trauma and healing. For over a decade, Susan has been invited to share Nia Retreats as a lifestyle practice at the famous Buddhist Retreat Centre in Ixopo. KZN (voted by CNN as one of the top 10 places in the world to meditate).
