Enjoy a morning of yoga for your Ayurvedic type/dosha with Wendy Young that includes Hatha yoga movements to energise, regulate, calm or restore balance, according to Ayurveda.This morning workshop is followed by a delicious vegetarian lunch and an afternoon of peaceful, total stress-busting Restorative yoga with Elizabeth Morris.
Morning: 11.00am – 12.50pm
Wendy Young, dedicated Satyananda Style yoga teacher and holistic Ayurvedic therapist, trained in India, Thailand and the UK, brings years of experience to movement and massage, teaching Buddhist-inspired philosophy of non-resistance, self awareness through breath control, visual and mental concentration with fluidity of movement to cultivate the internal energy most suitable to the individual’s specific nature, personality type or dosha.
Lunch: 1.00pm – 2.00pm
A delicious catered vegetarian meal by Nandiva
Afternoon: 2.00pm – 4.00pm
Having found our personal balance, Elizabeth will guide us into quietness and stillness. Elizabeth travels between Scotland and the Karoo to share her wisdom of the healing process. With deep muscle relaxation, mudras and meditation we restore metabolic and hormone function, activate the parasympathetic nervous system and release the body’s own inner healing power.
