Both Pat & I received a warm welcome on our arrival, were shown to our comfortable room with en-suite bathroom and were shown around the beautiful centre. I felt at home in this beautiful space.
Your talks were informative and interesting as were the yoga classes with Ishta who introduced us to Ananda Marga’s yoga postures. These were gentle yet effective as well as relaxing.
I appreciated the time for silent walks … I was able to make my way down to the river where I sat in the shade of some leafy trees on the bank of the slowly flowing river and could just be with the sounds of the birds, the babbling of the water as it passed over the rocks so perfectly placed by Nature & the sound of silence … Existence in it’s perfection.
Sitting around the bonfire on Saturday evening with you playing the guitar and all of us joining you in the singing while watching the flames dancing … sparks streaking out from the tips of the dancing tongues of fire. The words & melody of “Baba Nam Kevalam” still reverberate throughout my being. Thank you for that too!
The venue was fabulous as were the delicious vegetarian meals so lovingly prepared and served by Devi, the silence, the yoga, the meditation, the singing & the dancing. What a lovely group of people.
Thank you also for the chat, for your teaching & for the listening.
I unreservedly recommend the Yoga of Silence Retreat to all who may be interested.
With love & blessings, Maetreyii
