Supermoon, Spring tide & Equipoise :14 November Full moon perigee, the moon is at its closest point to the earth in its monthly orbit. This is the biggest moon we see since 1948, next will be 2034. 5th Supermoon for 2016 (March, April, May, October) next is 14 December. As the supermoons affect the water bodies of the earth bringing larger than usual tides, we can expect the same on all levels. The moon accentuates moods, swinging between confusion and clarity & it hasn’t ended yet….

Sun, Earth and moon are located more or less on a line in space – the range between high and low tides is greatest. Image via physicalgeography.net
